Bica's design principles for indoor waste sorting
Our indoor range is developed and designed based on a number of principles with a focus on quality, material and functionality. They help us to have a critical and creative approach to product development, and to ensure that circular thinking becomes an integral part of the product.

Made of solid material to ensure a long-lasting product
Bica indoor waste sorting is manufactured from powder-coated steel (1.3 mm material thickness) on high-tech machines with a focus on precision and quality. The steel is extremely durable and provide a long-lasting product.

Components can be disassembled and recycled
During the design phase, it is always crucial for us that all parts can be separated. This makes sense if a component breaks and needs to be replaced and even more importantly, when the product has reached the end of its useful life and needs to be discarded. Here, each individual component can be sorted and recycled into new products.

Made in a minimalist and timeless design
We only add the necessary functions to the design – no more, no less. That is why the products appear minimalist and stylish in their expression, while the timeless design ensures a classic piece of furniture that fits in with most interiors, regardless of style.

Easy repair by purchasing spare parts
If for some reason a part needs to be replaced, there is the option of purchasing a new part instead of buying a whole new product. It is easy to replace the part yourself, as the waste solutions are manufactured simply with few components.

Flexible design with the possibility of additional purchases
We focus on additional purchases rather than new purchases. If the need arises for more sorting or sorting into other types of waste, more waste bins can be purchased and connected to the existing ones. This way, the existing solution is maintained, just in a new set up.

Packaged for minimal environmental impact and transport damage
Heavy, high-quality waste bins require solid packaging to avoid damage during transport. We ensure that the products are only packed in the packaging that is absolutely necessary. The packaging can then be easily sorted into clean cardboard, soft plastic and pallet wood.

Developed with a focus on the physical working environment
A crucial factor in the development of Bica waste solutions is the working postures of the cleaning staff handling the waste. Front doors ensure easy emptying without heavy lifting, soft close ensures no pinched fingers and wheels make the bins mobile when cleaning floors.

The waste solutions are created to make waste sorting easier in companies. By using a functional and user-friendly high-quality product, more correct sorting is ensured, which contributes to the companies' green transition by, for example, reducing the amount of residual waste.
